Congrats on all you have going on. Sorry to hear sbout LA Law. I read your interview with Cole and thought I'd let you know that Arrow and the rest of the 'verse' are the shows that inspired me to pursue screenwriting.
You are right about LA Law problem with networks is they have a one-sided agenda. IMO, it would have been better off on a streaming service where you would not be beholden to an agenda. But that is just me. Hell, ABC just cancelled Alaska Daily a show that touched on touchy issues!
That is where it would have been better off IMO. Heck it would have been perfect for Netflix! You could HS e done the opening like the olden days and as the saxophone start you could have put "A Netflix and Twentieth Century Studios Television Presentation" then the famous Car Trunk Slam!
And it was actually on Friday nights before moving to Thursdays. And if I ran ABC, I would have bought LA Law and placed it on Thursday nights again like the old days! I may have just a high school education with a little bit of college thrown in but I can run a TV network better than the knuckleheads who do it now!
LA Law traumatized me too. You know that episode where Abby defended a couple that were trying to return their adopted son. It broke my heart and made me stop watching LA Law for a while. But I do understand why they did it though.
It was Season 5 actually. It broke my heart. I was heart broken for Billy and his family and Abby took a lot of flack for it and watching it on YouTube reading the comments section. She got a lot of flack on there but seeing her at the end cuddling with her son in bed and crying it broke her heart.

Thank you! That means the world! Good luck with your writing!
Thank you so much!
My wife just commented that it takes a really great writer to write this newsletter... Very interesting indeed...
That's incredibly sweet of her. Thank you for sharing that!
Congratulations on Infinitum, mate!
And lots to think about in this post!
Thanks, buddy!!!

We would have much preferred to have sold it to a streamer.

I LOVED that episode. From Season 4, as I recall. A rare powerful case for Abby.

BTW, LA Law was on a Monday Night. I had the TV Guide to prove it and they even repeated the movie on a late Saturday Night and preempted SNL for it!
Um... I'm gonna need to see that TV Guide.
