The tuning fork thing is interesting. It’s a good tip. When I’m feeling jaded, I watch behind the scenes documentaries about my favourite TV shows and movies. It always fires me up, inspiring me to go create and strive for the best!
That is such a good point about writing. I've found the same thing working on my novels - if I'm reading a great book it in turn brings out better writing. Also I wish I could attend that Arrow picket line.
