I just delivered the revised draft of PROJECT FROST to my agent. I have to say, it feels good. I’ve been working on this iteration of this particular project (ooo — mysteriously vague) for about a year now but my earliest set of notes for it are dated February 26, 2013.
So this one’s been a while in the making.
And given the nature of the project, I don’t think we’re necessarily close to releasing it. I’m thinking 2023 is looking more likely than 2022.
But we’ll see.
Either way, it’s very exciting to reach this milestone.
THIS PAST WEEK
Last Wednesday, the 100th episode of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow aired. I still can’t quite believe that a show with such modest beginnings reached such a remarkable milestone. And the achievement is even more incredible when one considers that Legends’ seasons are shorter than its sister Arrowverse shows (or most broadcast series, for that matter). What this means is that Legends reached its 100th episode during its seventh season rather than its fifth (which is when most shows’ 100th episode airs).
For example LA Law aired its 100th episode during its fifth season. Which, yes, is my ham-fisted way of segueing to LA Law. We turned in the latest draft of the Pilot this week as well as kickstarting the casting process. We’re on our way!
NEXT WEEK
The last couple of weeks have been spent hitting a series of deadlines: PROJECT ARTERY, PROJECT SOLSTICE, PROJECT FROST, and LA Law, which means that next week is a bit of a “clean up” week where I attend to the projects that have gotten short shrift. At the top of that list is the script for the fourth issue of PROJECT CRACKERJACK. I also expect to be receiving notes on LA Law and issue two of PROJECT SOLSTICE.
If time permits, I’d at least like to crack the seal on the first draft of the sixth issue of PROJECT ENCORE, which will be the final issue in our first arc. The artist I’m working with doesn’t need a new script — he’s still working away on Issue 4 — but the thought of bringing this arc to a close is appealing, particularly while I seem to have the time.
Also, next week sees the release of Issue 3 of Last Flight Out. Here’s a little preview:

I know that’s a lot of talking, but trust me, there’s plenty of action in this issue. Please be sure to check it out.
That’s enough from me for now. More to come next week.
Be good to each other.
Best,

Love to hear of all the progress. I’m super interested in what PROJECT FROST will reveal itself to be….😎
