Didn’t Harlan Ellison write the Batman Two-Face script? I think DC adapted it for their Batman ‘66.
And now I’m thinking of Harlan writing for the Arrowverse. He could likely sink his teeth in that and you could have had the mixed experience of working with him for television.
You make a great point about the WGA and the press. I did a lot of reporting during the strike and was able to get a number of members to speak with me, but almost never on the record. And I tend to find the WGA itself pretty difficult to deal with overall. Which is weird, because as a journalist, I am very much on the side of writers - even when I don't agree with a point or two.
